How should I paint my room?

M'kayy I'm going to get my oldest sister's room when she moves out but I'm not sure how to paint it. I'd like it to go with my bedding, but there's already a ton of bright color. I want it to be...kinda fun, but still....spunky. Maybe black or white? I don't want too much of black.
