Hi, my 1 year old bunny some how got a broken nail. Like 2 days back. I stopped the bleeding with cornstarch..?
powder. Then I put ointment and iodine, then i bandaged it up. The swelling has gone down and the bleeding stopped . He seems to be doing much better. What else can i do to help?p.s I have no clue how he broke his nail. I trim them regularly:)
I feel stuck.. What do I do?
You are just going to have to suck it up. Your kids didn't ask to be born to you and your ex and they certainly didn't cause you two to split up. Those were grown up decisions that they are paying for now. You don't get to be immature about when and how you get to spend time with them. You just get to suck it up and make sure that when they are with you, you are completely present and lead a great example by not trash talking their mom (even if she does it to you). You owe this to your children. If you are overwhelmed by spending an entire week with them it is time for you to lean on whatever support system you have (parents, siblings, friends... whatever). And might I mention that your ex must spend weeks at a time with them if you are only getting them a few days and weekends and she makes it work. Being a parent is a full time job, even when you are divorced. It is your number one priority and should not be considered an inconvenience.

A question about self defence and the law?
In a perfect world, your word should be equal to the word of others; however, you cannot expect such consideration. If such an event were to occur I would suggest that you explain that your knife was used in self defense, as a last resort. Police agencies generally look down upon any use of a knife in an offensive capacity, and you should therefore make it known that your use of the "tool" was in self defense only. If you are engaged in a defensive engagement where you utilize your knife, make sure to report it to the authorities immediately before your attackers have a chance to report you as the offender; regardless of whether or not you injure someone with the knife. If the police agency confies your knife, you have a right to request a receipt for the confiion of your property. Most importantly, if you engage offenders in a defensive capacity, make sure that you have a damn good reason why you didn't try to run away before defending yourself as most states require that you attempt to flee before attempting to defend yourself (an excellent example of the downfall of American society induced by liberal politicians).
Is America doomed to repeat Rome's failures in regards to republicanism?
This is not a "death to America!" rant. This is a question meant to inspire one's thoughts and answers. Rome fell from that of a republic into dictatorship. Could America experience a similar trend? Now, of course there are many who insist we already live in a kind of dictatorship. But I'm pointing towards a dictatorship in which the people no longer have the right/ability to elect government officials, and live under severe, oppressive conditions. So, do you think America stands the chance of falling into the trap the Roman Empire did? Why, or why not?
Can anybody answer my question about tapestry crochet?

Are monarchies decadent or redundant?
I think they're a little archaic, personally. Not that I don't love the idea of royalty and all the glitz and glamour ociated with it, but it's definitely an unnecessary system. In my humble opinion, of course.
