Hi, my 1 year old bunny some how got a broken nail. Like 2 days back. I stopped the bleeding with cornstarch..?

powder. Then I put ointment and iodine, then i bandaged it up. The swelling has gone down and the bleeding stopped . He seems to be doing much better. What else can i do to help?p.s I have no clue how he broke his nail. I trim them regularly:)
