Why should Intelligent Design be taught in public schools when it isn't even held up by scientific theories?
I can understand the fact that we can not say that there is or isn't a creator, however we can say that Evolution is a theory based on a pile of scientific evidence by means of natural processes. It demonstrates numerous biological facts beyond a resonable doupt. Science should not be tainted by the never changing views of religion. We wouldn't let "Witch Craft" be taught alongside Medical Students would we? I want to stress that it should be noted that evolution isn't telling our students that there isn't a creator, it is simply putting aside the spiritual beliefs and interpreting biology as best as we can with the technology that we have. Wouldn't you agree that the facts we use to justify evolution in many cases is the same facts we use in court rooms to PROVE criminals innocent and guilty. We must keep our teachings based on principals that are scientific so that we can prove that there is perhaps a maker or not.
