International instruments and mechanisms in place to deal with human rights violation?

So you see here, im writing a report on China's violation of human rights...ON... the lack of judicial independence and due process. Now i need to find international instruments or mechanisms that try to solve this type of violation on human rights. All i can find so far is media and raising attention, but i need some legal measures or something rather, IF they do exist. plz and ty ^^
