How can I build my endurance back up?

I'm a boxer and I got sick with the flu for about ten days. I am still getting over it, but now I'm just a bit congested. When I was sick I didn't work out at all I just kind of laid around and slept. I went worked out and got in the ring today and I feel like I lost a ton of muscle m and I can't last long fighting or hitting the bag anymore. I'm going to start running tomorrow to build back my endurance so I can last a while and lifting weights. Is there anything else I can do to build up my endurance and strenght fast? I was given a federal direct parent plus loan. Is this a loan for my parents to take out and pay off? Or can it be a loan for me to pay? at 9 months the fertility clinic won't really do much unless you are 35 or something like that. You usually have to wait 12 months before they think you need help. Even then it might not be right. I was TTC for a year and half and went to the fertility doc for 5 months with no luck. They gave me a shot to make me ovulate and took pills and had timed with no luck. I was disgusted that that didn't work so i just decided to do it on my own again and 11 months later i am finally pregnant. 9 months isn't that long, don't think of fertility problems until you need to. Best of luck

It has been my experience that the vast majority of women seem to be extremely attracted to intellectually challenged men. Even if the guy is not a bad boy and is clified as a good man as long as he is lacking in the smarts department women seem to be attracted to him. Help! Husband defends his mother after her rude remarks on facebook. Am I wrong?

I've been with my husband for 5 and 1/2 years now and we have a good relationship. The problem is his mother and is on the brink of destroying our marriage. A little background, I initially got along with the woman. I found her a little annoying and intrusive at first but I was able to dismiss it uming that it was her way of getting to know me. As the relationship continued she became more aggressive with her questioning and was now telling me how I should and what I should do. When we were married she didn't congratulate us or say a word about it. (We had a little court wedding) She was more concerned with his son's box of Easter candy than anything else. While visiting she has made comments about how our house is cleaned, how we cook, and to how I interact with his son. All this she says to her husband in a voice loud enough for me to hear. Again, I gave my husband the respect and not respond to her remarks and that took A LOT from me. He always says she means no harm and that she doesn't realize what she says. He has also blamed it on her liver transplant she had 10 years ago! I didn't know it was a lobotomy! So I have kept my distance from and just left the talking between her and her son. This time she crossed the line. She posted on Facebook that I was a sissy because I can't cope with 115 degree heat and that she wishes that him and his son's mother were still together. This was told to the ex's mother on Facebook for the world to see. She maintains a VERY close relationship with the ex, her mother and her grandmother. But when they were together, my husband and his ex, his mother couldn't stand any of them and always talked bad about them when we were first dating and well into our 3rd year of marriage. I asked my husband to confront her regarding the FB comments and he did. All he did was mention it to her and she said sorry and that she said it because she felt closer to his ex than me.I said that was a lie and that there were underlying reasons, mainly the relationship with his son and I WHICH my husband and I have an understanding between us and have worked things out. 21 year old female High Blood Pressure?

I am a 21 year old female that is not overweight (5'6'' 130lb), and who exercises regularly (4-5 days a week). However, my blood pressure is about 140/90 (measured several times at the office) My doctor says it is even higher for me because I am so young. He told me to measure my sodium intake on an average day. After a week of monitoring it, (not eating any differently) I found I rarely go above 2,000 mg a day, average about 1,800 mg (you should not go above 2,300-2,400) Is my case strictly hereditary, since I practically do everything possible to not have high blood pressure? Should I inquire about prescription drugs to control this? What else can I do about it? Will it just keep raising with age? I am especially concerned since my father died of a heart attack at the age of 41.

TTC 12 months.. Help!?

my hubby and I have been ttc for 12 months. I had surgery at the end of January and haven't been able to BD til the end of last month. So, we both sustained from , etc for 3 months then started trying again this month. Since January my periods have regulated themselves.. they use to be WAY OFF.. never knew when I was going to start but the past two months 28 days like clockwork.. so this month was easy to calculate... do you think being abstinent for 3 months helped us out ( and have also dropped 15 pounds)? Mixing different fish is an awesome idea. It is all in what you want to see. Now, whether or not you will be able to get the Tetras to stay away from a catfish, that's hard to say..... Small fish "food", big fish "hungry". I have seen some pretty impressive set-ups in pet stores, where they mixed fish with each other. Go to your pet store, look around, try not to spend spend all your money before you do your research. Shop istants applying makeup at work, appropriate or inappropriate?

I'm just realizing more and more shop istants is applying make-up while at work, especially ones that sell beauty products like the body shop. It sort of puts me off the products seeing the istant(s) just applying some of the testers while there are customers in the shop (and the testers aren't there for they're own personal use). Can't they just do their makeup at home like most people do. I was a shop istant before and I never had the need to do my makeup at my work. I can understand the fact that we can not say that there is or isn't a creator, however we can say that Evolution is a theory based on a pile of scientific evidence by means of natural processes. It demonstrates numerous biological facts beyond a resonable doupt. Science should not be tainted by the never changing views of religion. We wouldn't let "Witch Craft" be taught alongside Medical Students would we? I want to stress that it should be noted that evolution isn't telling our students that there isn't a creator, it is simply putting aside the spiritual beliefs and interpreting biology as best as we can with the technology that we have. Wouldn't you agree that the facts we use to justify evolution in many cases is the same facts we use in court rooms to PROVE criminals innocent and guilty. We must keep our teachings based on principals that are scientific so that we can prove that there is perhaps a maker or not.

Help with wood-burning stove issue?

My partner has removed her gas boiler and installed a solar thermal panel and wood burning stove, in which she has been burning FSC-sourced timber - the most recent load was beech, supposedly seasoned for 12 month. Unfortunately she still finds the stove pumps out a fair bit of darkish smoke coming out of the chimney. As she lives in a smoke control area, she needs to get the cleanest possible burn and the whole point of the exercise is to achieve the most sustainable, and affordable heating system. Any suggestions how she can reduce smoke output? Using very dry wood has been suggested, but she cannot verify the supplier's claim as to the dryness of the wood fuel... I Spilt boiling water on my leg what should i do?

There's not a lot you can do really apart from numbing it. I was making some tea and there was a hairline crack in the mug, but the hot water mate it smash completely and the water poured all over my foot. It hurt for a couple of days but I made sure I kept it uncovered whenever I could (or wore light clothing) because tight socks would rub and make it hurt more. If it starts to blister then that's expected, but if you notice anything more (funny colours etc) then it could be infected. I dont think you need to go to the doctors, and no, the skin will gradually heal over time. Good luck x

My parents have been married for almost 21 years. When my parents were married my dad had a bad temper and was very egotistical and treated my mom pretty shitty (he acknowledges this and takes full blame). Three of us went to California for 3 months in which during this time there were multiple phone conversations and my dad going into therapy a couple times. Things were great for 2 years after this and there was no bickering, fighting or blowups. After those 2 years, my dad was still okay, but slowly his temper came back and he treated my mom bad again (being sarcastic, bad jokes ect). My mom got tired of this and needed to get away and "find herself." She first brought up divorce early January 2010 and then moved out of our house to live with a friend in Mid-March 2010. My dad through this had an epiphany and changed his outlook on everything his relationship with my brother and I became devotion, he went back to the therapist, helped my mom move out and still takes her out to dinner. Around August, we figured out she was having an affair and was doing this before she was separated (oh by the way they aren't divorced). After the confrontation my dad was still there for her despite him being hurt because he made that mistake too during the marriage and he was forgiven. She goes to bars and before separation was dressing up, tanning, working out and became a fashion diva out of no where. Let me tell you, she has been sitting on the divorce papers, she claims her and this other guy are just "friends" and they aren't sleeping together (i believe this is true) and that when she goes to bars and stuff with him they just listen to music and talk. At the beginning she was only going out with him on Fridays..then it became during the week random times. The guy during the affair thought she was divorced and now that he knows the truth they are still hanging around. The other guy lives with him mom in a small house, is a mechanic, divorced, and has a DUI (which means she is driving him around and also, prob paying for stuff). She makes it clear she doesn't have "romantic feelings" now for my dad, but wants to remain friends because "u never know what's going to happen in the future." She can't let go of the past and says that the whole 21 years of marriage was made of fear and there were no good times (load of crock). My dad is consistently pounding his head trying to figure out ways to reach her and says it is all his fault he acted like that in the past and now he's paying for it by losing the only woman he ever loved and his family. What do you think??

It sounds like you beat yourself up a lot over every mistake you've ever made. Stop doing that and most of your problems will disappear. Everybody embaresses themselves sometimes and makes mistakes, i don't mean just once in a while, i mean, every day, over and over again, it's nothing to be ashamed of, it doesn't make you stupid, everybody does it. It's the only way to improve, to do things, make mistakes, listen to other peoples advice, and use the experience to do things better next time
